Today, I would like to talk to men about their position in Jesus Christ.
God has called us to be on the battlefield of life.
This calling is a very important calling from God, not man.
Whether you are married or not God has called you to be a leader.
To be a leader you have to be willing to be led.
Remembered God is the leader of all men.
He is trying to make a strong army out of the men in the church today for God has equip men for battle.

It is up to us as men of God, to use what God has given us.

In the book of :

Ephesians 6:13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Without the armor God we do not stand a chance against the devil.
Men, remember that this armor is only as strong as your prayer life is.
God Has given us the armor but it is going to be up to us to take care of it.
Many men go into battle without armor and become defeated.

If you want to have victory in your homes, at your jobs, and in your life, you have to develop the use of the  armor God has given you.

I would like you to look at a another verse in the Bible.

2 Corinthians 10:4
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Many times we find ourselves trying to fight spiritual wars with fleshly tools.
Most men know how to use tools but there are some that don't.
They need to learn how to use the tools God has provided for them.
To fight Spiritual Battles you can't use regular tools it takes special tools that only the lord can give you.
And like with all tools the more you use them the better you get with them.
There are many tools God has given us to use and we have to learn how to use them all.
The more knowledge you have on how to use the tools you have the better you can use them.

God can only give you the tools it's up to you on how good you get at using.

Right Dress for Battle

Ephesians 6:11-17
11.  Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness   in high places.
13.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14.   Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15.  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16.  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Brothers you have to realize your fight is not against flesh and blood.
It is against spiritual being like the devil.

Brothers we have to realize as sure as there is a God in heaven, there is a devil in hell and he is looking to destroy you, your family and your friends.
But this all depends on if you will let him.

As men we have to make a decision if we are going to get into the battle or not?

The Bible says that as men, we cannot allow ourselves to be deceived by false teachings, that destroys the power that God has given to man.

Don't be deceived
Ephesians 5:6
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Today's men have to realize that the devil is trying to deceive us in believing that we have no responsibilities; towards defending our homes, ours jobs, our lives, against the tricks of the devil.
He is trying to deceive us with nice words like I don't need to read my bible today,
I don't need to pray indefinitely ,God understands, I don't have time for church.
These are the biggest lies the devil has given to mankind.
All these lies do is bring weakness to the armour of the  Christian man of today.

If we look at what the Bible says.
It is our responsibility as men to pray.

We need to stop leaving it up to the women.

God called man to be the high priests of the house not the woman.

Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Sometimes as men we don't realize the responsibility we have as men's of God
.
With this responsibility we will be held accountable for, before God.
Most men like the idea of being a leader.
But who wants to follow a leader that doesn't know where he's leading people to?
Remember men, we can lead people to heaven or hell.

For you married man, your family looks to you for leadership,
but if you are not being led by God through prayer; whose leading you?
In these busy days it is difficult but not impossible to find time to pray for each other.
Yes, it may take us turning off the TV and I know what you're saying; it's my favorite show.
Have you ever heard of a VCR recorder?
So many times we use anything and everything for an excuse not pray for each others.

Man, I have news for you God will require it from you why you did not pray.
Brothers, think about this, could  there be a reason the devil doesn't want you to pray.
Prayer strengthens you against the things the devil throws at you.

Commandment
Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation;
the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

There are a lot of things that confront men today like being mistreated at your job.
The temptations that the devil puts in front of you,  pressures that come from life.
But prayer, enables us to have victorties over them through Christ Jesus.
The devil will try to tempt us with sin but prayer will help us to overcome sin.
Prayer strengthens us and enables us to overcome sin.
The strength that comes from prayer and only from prayer the devil cannot defeat it.
God is really looking for some men that are willing to pray.

Are you one of those men that can overcome sin?
You can, all it takes is a willing heart and a little effort.

And you will see the dramatic change prayer can make in your life.
