How to be led by the Spirit of God
We know that the Spirit of God comes to guide you
into the truth and that is that we are the sons of the Most High God. As sons of God we should only settle for God’s very best.
One of the first things we must understand is that the Holy Spirit is not an emotion or any outward manifestation. By that I mean yes, many times he will affect your emotion because after all we are emotional people.
He is the third person of the Trinity. He is in charge of everything in heaven and everything Divine here on earth. He is behind every vision or plan God has for your life. He is the most valuable asset you have as a Christian.
If you experience victories in your life it is because of Him. If you have to lean on someone it would be better if you did your learning on Him. If you want things to work for you that haven’t worked for others, we know that we must have a relationship with Him for he is the friend you have. He is the one who straighten out you past and he will tell you about your future.
The joy you and I are experiencing right now in our life is because of the Spirit of God that lives within us.
You do not want any hindrances like envy, bitterness, strife and unforgivenness or selfishness to keep Him from talking to you.
If you we have any of those feelings within us we need to submit them unto Him.
We know that when we praise the Lord the Holy Spirit comes and lifts up our praise to the Lord and then we know that it is always followed by His supernatural intervention. Acts 16:25-26
Before the Holy Spirit can guide us in our lives, there’s something’s that must be met in our life.
The Holy Spirit will only guide you into a path that will only bring success in your life. For sure you will have protection and God backing and He will stop the devil dead in his track for you. But one of the things we need to understand is that the Holy Spirit knows your future so we need to have a relationship with him. You can only have success in your life when you let the Holy Spirit totally guide you but he cannot just lead just anyone only a person that’s being born-again.
Proverbs 20:27 says:
“God’s people should do nothing before they ask guidance of the Holy Spirit”
You must be born-again to be led by the Holy Spirit, being good is not enough. God can be speaking to you but you are not in the right place in your life to hear His voice.
Condemnation can also hinder you from hearing God voice.
You also must be a self-control person, humble not proud and have a very teachable spirit. And when you submit unto God’s Word you are showing real humility.
It is awesome to know that when you hear His voice your life will become “directed instead of driven”.
Another thing we must have is Faith to hear from God and Faith is simply having confidence in God and His Word.
“Calling those things that are not as if they are” is sayings that you are walking by God’s Word and you haven’t even seen the manifestation of it yet. Glory!
If you are led by your physical sense, God cannot direct you. If you are led by your emotions it is dangerous because they are unstable. There is only one thing in a born-again person that is stable and that is God’s Word. God’s Word is stable so your actions must be based on it. Your actions should not be determined by your feeling only by God’s Word.
Faith is very important because God’s Word says: “We cannot please Him without it”.
I think by now you are realizing how important it is to spend time with the Holy Spirit.
He will share with you God’s truth and His knowledge.
You and I know that when we are thinking about the cares of this world we won’t be able to hear direct from his Spirit. We got to learn to cast our burdens and cares on the Lord. We know that worry is a sin because this type of thinking is negative. We should be thinking on God’s Word for any situation in our life. There will be a certain peacefulness and quietness in your life when you have learned to trust him.
Is it possible to hear from God like Moses did in such detail? I believe you can because I believe the Lord God want you to be directed in which way you need to go. I believe he will answer your questions you have before him concerning your life and the direction you are looking for. Just think how awesome to just follow the way he directs.
I think that is one-way stress would leave your life—just by following Jesus and doing things as he directs.
Walking in love is also very important to hearing from God
For us to walk in love, it leaves no room for anything like malice and anger in our lives.
I know that God’s says that we show our love for him by walking in his Commandments.
Ask yourself this question; is it possible to love others no matter their faults? Your answer will determine the victories in your future.
Remember: ‘Don’t allow you’re past situations to ruin your ability to hear from God’
Being led by the Holy Spirit and hearing Him is very important to a Christian child.
Speaking in tongues activates your spirit and enables river of living water to flow out of it, giving you wisdom to succeed in your life.
Speaking and praying in tongues is the language of your spirit man. Your spirit is activated when you pray in tongues, rivers of wisdom, information, flow out of your spirit.
God wants to lead you to the place you need to be. Don’t make haste decisions.
You and I know how to walk in the spirit of God. We need to know that for you not to walk in the flesh is simply walking in the Spirit.
We know that everything begins with a though. All the flesh is thinking opposite of God’s ways. Negative thoughts seeds produce roots and stronghold in your mind that is where the works of the flesh are going to grow in. Right thinking produces right actions.
Even before you do the works of the flesh you have had to set your mind on the things of the flesh.
So what are we to do? Your mind has to be renewed so that it will come together with your spirit.
Two things fight for your life: the Flesh and the Spirit.
Bible says: “if you walk in the Spirit you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh”
Never forget to submit unto God Word before you try to resist the devil. Power comes upon you when you submit to God.
Speaking God’s word out loud gives you authority over your fleshly thoughts.
